“With a passion for capturing the night sky, I’m lucky enough to live where the small towns and southern, coastal location result in some of England’s darkest skies. Low light pollution levels are what make my images possible. It would be easy to assume the shots are highly manipulated and although they may seem surreal, most of what I shoot is actually visible to the naked eye. It’s the addition of long exposures and a light sensitive camera that bring out the colours and detail. I’m not totally nocturnal though! As you can see from my images, I have a wealth of beautiful scenery to choose from too.”
