La Falaise

from 15.00

I worked my way down a local cliff, jumping from boulder to boulder with my hands full of gear in the pitch black, with the aim to focus my lens on two rocks protruding out from the water, with a rising milky way. As I finished up and began to walk back, a group of vibrant flowers caught my eye growing against the cliff and along a group of rocks (known as the Carpobrotus edulis). I immediately sat my camera and tripod as low as I could within it's succulent leaves, and using my widest lens, I was able to compose the flowers, rocks and galaxy in the same frame.
